A group of supporters are lucky to have their club at the top. According to this year’s Madden 23 ratings, it’s safe to say that the best football club isn’t always the one that wins the Super Bowl at the end of the campaign.
With an incredible overall team rating of 92, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now officially the highest rated team in Madden 23.
The Buccaneers are the better team in terms of pure numbers, and their team is three points better than the second-best pick, so it’s not even really a close race.
The Rams and Packers tied for second place overall with an 88, while the Invoices came in second with an 89. As the Buccaneers were on many of these lists, we posted a handful of pieces on the best players in different positions.

The Buccaneers are now considered the best team in Madden 23, but that doesn’t always mean they’re the best in every aspect of the game.

The Buccaneers have several stars on the opposing team, but their defense ranks only 85th out of 32 teams, behind the Rams and Bills, who are tied for first with 88 ratings.
The Buccaneers suffer miserably on special teams compared to the rest of the league, only scoring 75, despite their other strengths. They’re now ranked 12th in the league for special teams, meaning their pundits failed to place them in the top half.
