Halloween fun planned for October 30 | Local News


The Town of Fountain Hills will host the Spooky Blast Halloween event at Four Peaks Park on Saturday, October 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This fun family event will be full of things to do for all ages. More than 25 stands will be set up with games and treats. Be sure to check out the inflatable slides and obstacle courses. Visit online at fh.az.gov/spookyblast for more information.

Trick or Treat on the ball fields is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween at this family-friendly event taking place at Four Peaks Park this year. Merchants will provide games, treats, bouncers and more.

Inflatables include a 35-foot slide, an 18-foot slide, and two obstacle courses.

Join the Flash Mob Dance Thriller at 5:30 p.m. Love 2 Dance will lead a Thriller Dance group. Be part of the fun. Meet on the ball field near the playground. Be sure to sign up for a free Thriller Dance class at Love 2 Dance. These two lessons will prepare Flash Mob Dance Thriller participants for Spooky Blast.

These free dance lessons take place on Saturday 23 October from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Register online at fh.az.gov/recreation.

A costume contest will be held at 5:45 pm Costumed animals and humans will parade along the walking path on the ball field near the playing field for judging. Three prizes will be awarded in each category:

* 1st, a $ 50 gift card and Halloween gifts.

* 2nd, a $ 25 gift card and Halloween gifts.

* 3rd, a bag of Fountain Hills loot and Halloween gifts.

Categories to be judged are youth, adults, pets, and humans

Food trucks will be on site from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be food trucks on site for meals and treats.

The film in the park will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy “Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit,” a family movie in North Field Park starting at 6 pm.
