news, local news,

Hundreds of people gather to enjoy food, dance, music, traditions and, of course, company at the Bordertown Multicultural Food Festival on Saturday. The Bordertown Racecourse provided an ideal venue for the community to come together and savor the abundance of aromas and the soothing of the taste buds. Traditional dishes from around the world were one of the highlights of the event, with cuisines from Malaysia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa, Australia and the Philippines. Coordinated by the Tatiara District Council, the annual event is a highlight of the city’s calendar. In addition to delicious food, people enjoyed an evening of music, singing and dancing.
