Beats x BBQ is the vibe with cool music and tasty food in Flint’s four-day festivities
FLINT, MI – He’s back and now he’s bigger than ever.
This Memorial Day weekend, thousands are expected to gather in the heart of downtown Flint to dine, dance and connect with the return of the third annual Beats x BBQ on Sunday, May 29.
“We’re thrilled to bring it back to Flint,” said Brandon Corder, founder of Beats x Beers. “Go out and enjoy.”
But it’s not just one day. This year is officially Beats x Beers Weekend.
The four-day weekend gathering is growing and will consist of many events with delicious food, trendy music and plenty of in-person networking opportunities.
Corder wants to continue providing this as a service to the community on Memorial Day weekend to encourage residents to stay in their hometowns and build together, giving the opportunity to spend their money in their community.

“The first two years have been amazing, seeing so many community members come together – from kids to 20s to old people – everyone comes out,” he said. “We will have vendors, food vendors, food trucks, spirits, etc. We are not reinventing the wheel here. We just continue to perfect the meat and potatoes that everyone already loves.
“Literally, there is something for everyone. There’s food for everyone, no matter your diet. The music is always good. It’s for the city. It’s for Flint. We are building something here.
