Greenwood Acres campground is nestled on sixty acres of pines, and is within easy walking distance to one of the best fishing rivers on the East Coast. We are located within 15 minutes to some of the best shopping, theaters and summer events in Eastern Maine. If you are heading to Canada and the Maritimes, we are the perfect distance from or to the border to rest, relax, and prepare.  
In our office you will find maps of the area, the Downeast Region, The Maritimes and local points of interest. The Cafe is located on the premises with daily specials and breakfast served all day.  For those of you who like to have fun even on rainy days, we offer The Holosuite Gameroom touted as one of the best entertainment centers in the area. Directions from I-95
Northbound: Take exit 45A (Bangor-Brewer) to I-395. Take exit 4 on I-395. Turn right onto Route 15. Continue through 3 sets of traffic lights (Route 9 East). Follow Route 9 until Route 178 (Riverside Drive) veers left. Take Route 178 North. We are 1 mile up on the right.

Southbound: Take Exit 52 (Old Town). Turn left onto Route 43, follow through to the set of traffic lights. Turn left onto Route 2. Continue to Route 178. Take right onto Route 178 South. Go approximately 8 miles. We're on the left.
